This is the absolutely most relaxing and quiet resort in the Bend area. I can't remember how many times I've been here but I keep craving it. I literally can't think of a better place to truly unwind...and I've been about everywhere. The pool and hot tub are heated /open all winter and the resort, restaurant and amenities are all high end. It's a bit of a drive to town but that's what's required to be this secluded and quiet. All you hear at night is coyotes.
Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely appointed with a private patio overlooking the golf course. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was also very good. The avocado toast with poached egg was a delicious breakfast with freshly sliced avocado on top of hearty whole wheat bread. The hanger steak dinner was tender and delicious. The side of grilled heirloom carrots was very good. We had a delightful sunset walk around the tranquil preserve.
Amazing experience so far. Extremely clean rooms, incredibly attentive and kind staff. Tons to do around the resort. Will definitely recommend to family and friends
The rooms and initial aesthetic: 10/10. You start to dive into the details- it’s not great. For $400/night- you would expect turndown and bed service. Neither existed. Very disappointed in that. The rooms overall were nice but lacked some minor details when the price is $400-night. Worth maybe $250 max. The minibar for example is basically a wood tray on top of a college dorm mini fridge. The fridge is honestly pretty loud and was 3.5 feet from the bed. We were afraid to unplug and let the food spoil.
The people that worked there were as kind as mother Theresa. They saved this from going below 2.
The pool was saltwater. That was nice. Pronghorn was pretty far from anything relevant. About 20-30 mins.
If this place was an NBA player- it would be James harden. Overrated, overpriced, not the move.
We just stayed for two nights we booked a room with two queens resort view with a balcony. Upon arrival we find that we are about 40 minutes away from any civilization which is fine except there's no vending machine no store and only one …
I went to an event out there, absolutely beautiful . The front gate attendant was very nice, helpful and the holiday bazaar was so much fun.

Terrible attractions. Like I get it, it’s a gold course with homes on it, but it’s on a desert, I want some nature trails. You have to pay $50 to visit the one cool thing they let you see, the lava caves, and they have to escort you. Like cmon.
This is my second time to this property in 10 years. They have definitely kept up with the place by adding to the facilities and maintaining everything quite nicely.
